2009 ADDY® Awards

The ADDYs are the largest and most representative competition in the advertising industry. Recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide.

The Pensacola Bay Area ADDY Awards is the first of a three-tiered national competition. Concurrently, all across Florida, the Caribbean and the country, local entrants are vying for recognition as the very best in their markets. Last year there were over 52,000 local entries in the ADDY competition. Local winners compete against other winners within their region in one of fourteen District competitions, including here in the 4th District. District winners are then forwarded to the National ADDY Awards competition.

ADDY® Gala

February 21st at WSRE Studios at Pensacola Junior College (1000 College Boulevard)

Doors at WSRE open at 6 pm the show starts at 7:30. Peruse the 2009 ADDY entrants while you enjoy 2 drinks on the house and a variety of hors d’oeuvres catered by Appetite 4 Life.

Note: The 2 free drinks are not included in the Student Tickets.

Featured hors d’oeuvres include

  • Catalina pasta tortellini with shrimp
  • Carving station of turkey tenderloins with lemon garlic and sundried tomato marinades & spiral smoked ham
  • Baked brie in pastry shells filled with raspberry & apricots served with toast points
  • Caviar signature pie
  • Spinach & artichoke dip
  • Cheese & Veggie Platter
  • Desserts

After the show, the party will move to Madison’s on 12th Avenue. Complimentary hors d’ouvres, two full bars with drink specials, as a live pianist will be there to help you wind down from the night’s festivities.
